Dr O Z Qureshi’s Surgery Pay Declaration for 2024/2025

NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is published and the required disclosure is shown below. However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparisons with any other practice.

From April 2016 it has become a contractual requirement for all GP practices to publish the mean net earnings of the partners, salaried GPs and locums who have worked in the practice for over six months, on their Practice website.

“The average pay for GPs working at Taylors Avenue Medical Centre in the last financial year 2024/25 was £89,900 before tax and National insurance. This is for 1 Full-time and 3 Part time doctors who worked at the practice for more than 6 months”.
